Cool. Today I learned two important things:
* Never use an FFT with a sine window doing 50% overlap-add resynthesis or you'll get horrible aliasing (you're supposed to use a Modified Discrete Cosine Transform, stupid!) * Dirt weighs a lot Looks like I'm doing some farming, as my best friend (and dream girl) Vanessa has begun to take me to Stanford's Community Organic Farm. It's fun, and I'm starting to get a tan. On the audio front, I'm getting further into audio codec design (one more step towards an OpenSource codec!) and also am starting to build up a coding team: a group of volunteers willing to help encode samples at various bitrates in various programs in various formats. =) Fun! Helpful! tell me if you want to join the team! =) Well, I'm waking up @ 7 AM tomorrow, so I'd better be getting to bed and such...I love all you guys. Oh, and check out superbad. Crazy graphics! Betalounge's last session was absolutely delicious. I love that stuff! | ||
