[yawn] it's 1:42am. I'm tired. I'm going to go to sleep as soon as I finish writing this up. I sent out my audio report to a bunch of sites on the Net and quite a few decided to pick it up: mp3.com, dimension music, cybertropix, mp3spy, and quite a few others, too numerous to list here. I'm still hoping to get on slashdot and freshmeat, though.

I've been emailing the manager of Microsoft's Codec Group back and forth, which has been fun, and I got quite a few job offers. While I'm all set for now, it's always nice to know people appreciate you. The report could definitely use a lot more: like QuickTime audio and VQF comparisons. I just bought QuickTime and RealNetworks just offered to give me a free copy of RealProducer Plus, so I may beef up my report a little yet. (And the MS Codec Manager suggested I use a secondary program to do the resampling. [sigh] Much legwork ahead.)

I've been having a great deal of fun with my webcam -- I set up some scripts to automatically archive the last 12 hours in 1-hour increments, and the last hour in 5-minute increments. =) Fun! Now Dave is LIVE on the Internet!

Dear lord, am I going to get any of my (essential) homework done?! This is too much fun. Oh, check my newfound friend Hannah's site out! She's a 'K-Rad Cyberbabe' if I ever met one!
