Ah, another great weekend last weekend; perfect, even. We threw a
house party that a bunch
of people came to; I spun a bit on the turntables, mixed some drinks,
danced like a madman, and generally had a great time. I was dressed as
Lenny Kravitz, complete with oversized afro, purple silk shirt, gold
chains, giant glasses, and lots of pimpin' attitude. ;)
Anyhow, a lot of people crash at the house and the next morning is perfectly clear and sunny and, as it turns out, a lot of the people that stayed over are pretty handy at food preparation. We had a fabulous breakfast and then drove to the beach with the top on my convertible down, music blaring. We ran and threw rocks and read boring economics books together and then we drove back, getting some roadside artichokes on the way back. We cooked them and ate them with mayonnaise as we watched a movie. Wow. Perfect. This coming Saturday, I'll be taking a week-long roadtrip with my sister; I haven't hung out with her since I was 9 for any extended period of time, so it's kind of like a getting-to-know-you sort of thing. I'm excited. Anyhow, the colo is coming along quite well: I helped put three more boxes in this week and helped to configure them. I'm really excited: we've got a real stack of boxes in there and are going to start offering virtual services in the next week or so. On Saturday, our "elections" for Directorships will finish, and then I'll have lots of people to help me work on the colo. Yay for starting a non-profit! Anyhow, I'm quite happy. Life is good! =) | ||
